Best Bluetooth Headset For Truckers: Reviews

1. Plantronics Voyager 104 Bluetooth Headset

Plantronics Voyager 104 Bluetooth Headset, Over the Head Headset with Microphone Built for Truckers, Black
  • Comfortable design: Mono headset with over the head design and memory foam headband and earcup provide all day comfort
  • Long lasting battery: Plantronics headset has upto 24 hours of battery life on a single charge so you can stay connected all day long

This is quite an expensive Bluetooth headset, and while it comes at quite a high price, you get what you pay for, and this is a very high-quality headset. One thing we can say about the Plantronics Voyager 104 Bluetooth Headset is that it is highly durable.

It has a high level of water resistance, so sweat is not going to mess with it, plus it has a decent level of impact resistance too, so if you happen to drop it, that shouldn’t be an issue either.

The Plantronics Voyager 104 Bluetooth Headset is a noise-canceling headset. Clarity is extremely important – the noise-canceling feature is really going to help cut down on outside noise.

You will undoubtedly be able to hear the person on the other end thanks to their noise-canceling ability. Of course, one ear is kept free so you can still hear what is going on around you for safety purposes.

Now, the Plantronics Voyager 104 Bluetooth Headset is a bit big and bulky, and a bit heavy, but it does have a high level of adjustability and a few features to keep you comfortable while wearing it.

What’s also nice is that it has glove-friendly controls, so you can still control it even if you are wearing driving gloves. The Bluetooth connection is very strong, so that should not be an issue.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Extremely durable
  • Noise-canceling
  • Can be controlled with gloves on

Cons

  • A bit bulky
  • Quite expensive

Who is this best for?

This is best for truckers who always need to be able to hear every single word, and don’t mind spending a few extra dollars.

2. BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset

BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset – Industry Leading Sound with Long Wireless Range, Extreme Comfort and Up to 24 Hours of Talk Time
  • Industry leading sound: The BlueParrott B450 XT Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset is engineered for superior calls in high noise environments; Block out background noise with 96% noise cancellation
  • Long wireless range: Walk and talk with no worries; The BlueParrott Bluetooth Headset has a considerably longer wireless range of up to 300 feet from paired devices; Wireless range requires a class 1 device

Here we have another nice Bluetooth headset that comes at about the same price as the previous model we just looked at, and it has many of the same features.

Now, what we can say about the BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset is that it only takes 3 hours to fully charge, but can provide you with over 24 hours of talk time, or over 500 hours of standby time.

However, keep in mind that you cannot plug it into a power source during the middle of a call, because it will totally reset the device.

The BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset is noise canceling, and it features a large earpiece to ensure that you can always hear what is happening on the other end, without having your hearing being overpowered by a large truck engine.

Of course, so you can hear the road around you, one ear is left free for safety. Something else we like is the large and cushioned earpiece, as well as the cushioned headband because it does make things more comfortable.

However, that said, it is also quite bulky, and the end without the earpiece is not very well padded, so those are 2 small issues here.

Pros

  • Quite durable
  • Noise-canceling with good mic sensitivity
  • Easy to control, even with gloves on
  • Great battery life

Cons

  • Some functionality issues
  • Not the most comfortable

Who is this best for?

If you need a high-quality headset with a solid Bluetooth connection, with good sound and mic quality, this is a great item to keep in mind.

3. YAMAY Bluetooth Headset

No products found.

This is a much more affordable Bluetooth headset for truckers which comes at about a third of the price of either of the others which we reviewed, so it is a budget-friendly option.

Now, what is nice about the YAMAY Bluetooth Headset is that it is very lightweight, so much so that you will barely be able to feel it on your head.

Moreover, it does not have all that much padding, so that might be an issue, but it’s also not heavy, so that does minimize the need for padding on the headband. The headband is adjustable for size, although it may slip around a little bit.

The YAMAY Bluetooth Headset is a noise-canceling headset, so you should be able to hear what is happening on the other end with ease, although the noise-canceling capabilities are not quite as good as with the others which we looked at, and this can also be said for the microphone sensitivity, as well as the battery life.

This is just a very basic Bluetooth headset designed primarily for basic cellphone use, but can also be used by truckers. What is pretty neat about the YAMAY Bluetooth Headset is that it allows you to connect 2 devices at once.

Pros

  • Very lightweight
  • Easy to adjust
  • Decent sound and mic quality
  • Partially noise-canceling
  • Very affordable

Cons

  • Limited durability
  • Quality is not the same as with more expensive options

Who is this best for?

If you need an option that is very affordable and basic, then the YAMAY Bluetooth Headset might be right for you.

4. Trucker Bluetooth Headset Wireless with Noise-canceling Microphone

Trucker Bluetooth Headset Wireless with Noise canceling Microphone, On-Ear Wireless Headphones with Mic,Over The Head Earpiece for iOS & Android Mobile Phone, Skype, Truck Drivers, Call Center,Voip
  • Consumer Alert: Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device.

Here we have an even more affordable Bluetooth headset for truckers, the most affordable one on our list so far. Be aware that it is not the highest quality option on the market right now, but it does get the job done, and it’s  an option to keep in mind if you have a limited budget to work with.

Something that does stand out about this headset is that the earpieces have excellent padding and are super comfortable. They may be a bit large, heavy, and bulky, which is a drawback, but they are very well padded.

The headband on this headset is very well padded too. On that same note, this headset does provide a good noise-canceling fit, so you can hear whoever is talking with great clarity. The microphone is also quite sensitive, and it is noise canceling as well, so whoever is on the other end should be able to hear you just fine.

A big drawback here is that this set features dual earpieces, and this creates some safety issues while driving. This headset offers up to 27 hours of talking time on a single charge, plus it can connect to 2 devices at once.

Pros

  • Great padding
  • Awesome noise cancellation
  • Good microphone
  • Great battery life
  • Very affordable

Cons

  • Covers both ears
  • Limited durability
  • Large size

Who is this best for?

This is best for anybody who needs a clear and crisp sounding headset that is not going to cost an arm and a leg.

5. Giveet Trucker Bluetooth Headset

Giveet Wireless Headset with Microphone Noise Canceling, Bluetooth V5.0 Headset with Charging Base, On Ear Headphones for Cellphone, PC, Trucker, Home, Office, Call Center, Skype, 15 Hours Playtime
  • ➤ EASY PAIRING & WIRELESS FREEDOM -- Pair easily with any two Bluetooth devices at one time. Roam range up to 33 feet from paired Bluetooth devices. Meet all your needs of calling. Communicate all day worry-free with up to 15 hours of talk time.
  • ➤ EXTENSIVE MATCH -- This headset is not only a call, but also music, video and games. It is a versatile wireless office headset. This wireless headset compatible with most Bluetooth cell phone and laptop. Please make sure that your phone or computer support VOIP (Voice Over Internet Phone) function. Great idea for truck driver, call center, Skype, Mumble or other video chatting software, conference calls, webinar presentations, Macbook, Chromebook and more.

This the least expensive option on the list; it comes in at just over $20, and it gets the job done just fine.

Now, we don’t want to create any illusions here and say that this is by far the best option in the world, because it’s not, but based on the very budget-friendly price, it makes for a good alternative if you need something that works, but won’t cost too much.

What can be said about the Giveet Trucker Bluetooth Headset is that it is super lightweight and compact, so it really does not get in the way or weigh you down.

The earpiece is pretty small, so that’s a bonus in one way, but on the other hand, although it has good padding, the shape of it does not make it very noise-canceling, so that can be a bit of an issue.

It has 15 hours of talk time on a single charge, which is not great, but ok. The microphone is great in terms of noise-canceling, but overall sensitivity is not great.

Pros

  • Budget-friendly
  • Lightweight
  • Adjustable

Cons

Not the best overall quality

Who is this best for?

This set is for anyone who is looking for a headset at a basic price; it will get the job done, but don’t expect bells and whistles or long-term durability.

Final Verdict

Instead of going over every product here on the list today, we think it is safe to say that the first option we reviewed is the best, but also the most expensive, and then going down the list, the headsets get a bit cheaper and lower in quality as they go.

The choice here is yours, and the price of all of these headsets really do coincide with their quality.
