24 Of The Best Campfire Songs To Play On Guitar

best campfire songs

Coming up with ideas for campfire songs can be time consuming. It can be difficult to find a song that is both within your ability to play, and is within your singing range. I've created a list of some of my favorites as well as some of the classics. Most of these songs will be easy enough to play for beginners, but can be adapted for more intermediate players.

Most of these songs can be played with a few basic chords. If you are having trouble fitting it into your singing range, use a capo to change the key of the song (by moving the capo up and down the neck) to suit your range.

Let's get started!

1. Hotel California

2. House Of The Rising Sun

3. Knocking On Heavan's Door

4. Wish You Were Here

5. Hurt

6. Stand By Me

7. No Woman No Cry

8. Creep

9. Ain't No Sunshine

10. Layla

11. Old Man

12. Simple Man

13. Imagine

14. Let It Be

15. Three Little Birds

16. Take Me To Church

17. Shape Of You

18. I'm Yours

19. Take Me Home, Country Roads

19. Wonderwall

20. Riptide

21. Hallelujah

21. Redemption Song

22. Ho Hey

23. Let Her Go

24. Little Talks

Conclusion

Many of these songs aren't difficult to learn. If you have a hard time remembering all of the chords bring a book of printed chords. Remember, people are usually pretty forgiving around campfires. I'm sure any one of these songs will be a hit.
